TEKO u4.0 - Best POCKETS!
The (SUBJECTIVE) criterion used to consider one pocket better than another in this tier list is how unbalanced their builds can become.
Note that the pockets at the very bottom will require more focus on forcing a particular strategy, specifically one centered around the pocket’s mechanic (for example, Swanky Pocket will force you to save money to get the maximum benefit possible).
On the other hand, the craziest pockets are the ones that start with a big advantage or have a large number of possible openings. Some of them, like Ruin Pocket, may focus on forcing a particular build, but they’re simply too powerful in the late game to be placed lower, usually because runs become easier.
All pockets have a mechanic that makes them unique, and each one can have a tryhard theorycrafting approach, but it’s much harder to develop clever builds for the lower tiers.
Keep in mind that Chosen Pocket and Warlock Pocket are similar. Forbidden Pocket is an improved version of them, since it’s the only way to guarantee a Forbidden Card so easily, and even though its levels are heavily penalized, it’s worth dealing with the difficulty because it offers a unique advantage.
The clear winner of the tier list is Wooden Pocket, which allows you to use almost double the number of cards compared to the default. These items are the heart of the game.
