Terms of Service

Welcome to TEKO (“the Game”), developed and published by Talio Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing TEKO through Steam or any official Talio Games service, including our official website at https://taliogames.com and our official Discord community, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Game.

1. Eligibility

TEKO is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age required to legally enter into agreements in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Game with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

2. License to Use

Subject to these Terms, Talio Games grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download, install, and play one legally obtained copy of TEKO for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.

This license does not transfer ownership of the Game or any intellectual property rights.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

TEKO, including but not limited to its source code, artwork, music, sound effects, visual assets, gameplay systems, user interface, logos, characters, text, trademarks, and all other related content, is the exclusive property of Talio Games and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted except those expressly provided in these Terms.

4. Personal Modifications

You may modify your own legally obtained copy of TEKO for your personal and private use.

However, you may not:

• Distribute modified versions of the Game.
• Sell or commercially exploit modified versions.
• Present modified versions as official releases.
• Redistribute any part of the Game without prior written permission from Talio Games.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Redistribute, copy, or resell the Game except as permitted by applicable law.
• Remove or alter copyright notices or proprietary notices.
• Use the Game in any unlawful manner.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of Talio Games.

Since TEKO is designed as an offline single-player experience, gameplay modifications affecting only your personal copy are generally your own responsibility.

6. Steam Services

TEKO requires a valid Steam account in accordance with Steam’s own Terms of Service.

The Game supports Steam Cloud. This feature is provided through Steam and depends entirely on Steam’s infrastructure and availability.

If you choose to play without an internet connection, TEKO remains fully playable. However, Steam Cloud synchronization may be unavailable until your device reconnects to Steam.

7. Updates and Availability

Talio Games may release updates, patches, balance changes, bug fixes, new content, or other modifications at its sole discretion.

Talio Games also reserves the right to discontinue development or online services related to the Game. Whenever reasonably possible, advance notice will be provided through official communication channels.

8. Bug Reports and Support

While we strive to maintain a stable experience, TEKO is provided as-is.

Players are encouraged to report bugs or technical issues. Talio Games may investigate and address reported issues at its sole discretion but does not guarantee that every reported issue will be resolved.

9. Refund Policy

Talio Games does not directly process refunds.

All purchases and refund requests are handled exclusively according to Steam’s refund policies and procedures.

10. Streaming and Content Creation

Talio Games grants players permission to create, stream, record, publish, and monetize videos or live broadcasts featuring TEKO on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and similar entertainment services.

This permission may be revoked only in cases involving unlawful activity, fraud, misrepresentation, or misuse of Talio Games’ intellectual property.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

TEKO is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

Talio Games does not warrant that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every hardware or software configuration.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Talio Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use TEKO.

This includes, without limitation:

• Loss of saved progress.
• Data loss.
• Hardware or software incompatibilities.
• Service interruptions.
• Any damages resulting from the use of Steam Cloud or third-party platform services.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Game is to discontinue its use.

13. Changes to These Terms

Talio Games may revise these Terms from time to time.

When reasonably possible, users will be informed of significant changes through official communication channels. Continued use of the Game after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Argentina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Argentina.
